A 1974 Graduate (J.D. Degree) of The Cornell Law School, Mr. Singer was admitted to practice before the New York and Federal Courts in 1975, and began his legal career as a Trial and Appellate Lawyer in the District Attorneys Office, Nassau County. Following a five (5) year tenure as Law Secretary to the Hon. Arthur D. Spatt (1979-1984), then a Justice of the New York State Supreme Court, Mineola, Mr. Singer entered the private practice of law in 1984.
In addition to representing individuals and business entities in a wide variety of business issues and transactions, Mr. Singer has appeared in and tried commercial lawsuits in the State and Federal Court and before the American Arbitration Association. He has appeared before the Appellate Divisions, First and Second Departments, New York Court of Appeals, and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
He represents a diverse group of business people, professionals, and businesses, in such matters as the formation and dissolution of entities, shareholder and partner disputes, financial issues. and construction litigation and contract negotiation.
